The Big Red Machine Kane, Senator Kane?
Kane with the chokeslam to CM Punk as AJ looks on.
Did you know that "The Big Red Machine" is active in politics and is actually considering running against US Senator Lamar Alexander in Tennessee?
Don't let the size and mask fool you.
He has been a guest speaker at the Ludwig von Mises Institute, which is "the world center of the Austrian School of economics and libertarian political and social theory,"
Of course well all knew he was smart ever since he won The Weakest Link back in March of 2002.
I know he would run under his real name...but Senator Kane has such a cool ring to it....

WWE - Kane and AJ
Throughout his entire career in the WWE, Kane has been no stranger to dysfunctional relationships.
Tori (Terri Poch), Katie Vick (ugh) and Lita spring to mind.
And now we have Kane and AJ.

Bobby Lashley Versus Brock Lesnar?

On an appearance on ESPN Radio, Bobby Lashley said that he wanted to fight current UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.
Of course we all know that Brock and Bobby both worked for WWE.
But how cool would it be (and how many tickets would they sell) if Vince could somehow wrangle the UFC into working with the WWE to do this match up at a WWE PPV?
Of course it won't happen.
Brock has distanced himself from the WWE, although even in the cage he still acts like a good old fashioned pro wrestling heel.
Just look at his last fight. His antics after the match would make Stone Cold Steve Austin proud.
And Bobby is signed with TNA, WWE's main rival.
Yes he said in that same ESPN interview that he has signed a TNA contract and will be appearing at the TNA Victory Road pay-per-view on Sunday.
But Vince is always looking for something fresh and exciting, this would be a world class event, combining pro wrestling and MMA.
Of course the match would have to be straight up MMA rules.
No run-ins by Kane or John Cena or Batista.
No sudden appearance by the Undertaker.
(Though in the middle of the bout, how cool would it be to have the lights go out and hear "Bonnng!"?)

WWE Wrestling News
Tonight on WWE Raw will be a handicap match, John Cena and Batista versus Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, and Cody Rhodes.
It looks like The Undertaker will be requiring arthroscopic surgery to repair some long-term hip and knee damage. The WWE is hoping one..., that they can get him back before SummerSlam, and two....that Jeff Hardy will hang around until Taker gets back.
Yes Jeff is pretty hurt up too (if you have seen him wrestle you wont wonder why) and needs a break from wrestling for awhile.
Have you noticed that WWE wrestlers seem to be getting injuries at an alarming rate lately?
The Chris Jericho / Rey Mysterio feud was started because Chris wants to work with Rey.
And speaking of Rey, the UK's Daily Mail says that rapper Eminem was seen in London this weekend wearing a Rey Mysterio mask while out in public shopping.
Shades of Micheal Jackson!
Well, Eminem likes superheroes and wrestling...so why not?

The Undertaker

The Phenom, the Deadman, Texas Red.
One half of the Brothers of Destruction with Kane.
He has always been one of my favorite wrestlers because he combines showmanship with wrestling skill.
He gives his all in that wrestling ring.
For an example, look no further than his legendary Hell in a Cell match with Mankind.
Undefeated in Wrestlemania.
The first winner of the Royal Rumble.
He's held the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship, the WCWA Texas Heavyweight Championship, the WCW Tag Team Championship (with Kane), the WWF/WWE Championship (4 times), the WWF Hardcore Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship (2 times) and the WWF Tag Team Championship (6 times).
At Wrestlemania he has defeated Jimmy Snuka, Jake Roberts, Giant Gonzales, King Kong Bundy, Diesel , Sycho Sid, Kane , The Big Boss Man, Triple H, Ric Flair, The Big Show and A-Train in a handicap match, Kane, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Batista and Edge.
And now leading into this years Wrestlemania, will his winning streak be broken?
I hope not, I'd like to see The Deadman retire undefeated.

Lilian Garcia

Okay she's not a wrestler.
But what would Monday Night Raw be without Lilian Garcia?
Lilian made her debut on an episode of Raw is War back on August 23, 1999.
Really?
Before she got into the WWE, she was a top ten finalist in the Miss South Carolina beauty pageant, one half of a popular morning show on radio station WYYS,"YES 97" in Colombia SC, a VJ in Atlanta, Georgia and she has been a singer since the age of five.
She even appeared in a movie with Robby Benson and Burt Reynolds called "Modern Love" before she got into the WWE.
You know Lilian was born in Madrid Spain in 1966, and Kane was born in Madrid Spain in 1967.
Wouldn't it be cool if they had known each others as kids?

WWE Smackdown: Festus
Andrew William Hankinson was born on December 22, 1984 in Cumberland, Maryland.
He is an American professional wrestler currently working for the WWE on SmackDown under the ring name Festus.
This 6 foot 7 inch, 300 pound monster was the fake Kane back on RAW in 2006. (I think everyone pretty much hated that storyline).
Festus' current character is a mentally retarded man (How does the WWE get away with that?) .... until the bell rings to begin the match.
When the bell rings at the beginning of the match, Festus' face contorts, becoming determined and monstrous.
When the bell rings at the end of the match, Festus' face returns to normal.

Snitsky

Eugene Alan Snisky was born January 14, 1970 in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania. He is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Snitsky, who is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestling on its WWE RAW brand.
Snisky played offensive tackle for the Missouri Tigers college football team.
Gene made his WWE debut on the September 13, 2004 edition of Raw as an apparent jobber against Kane in a no-disqualification match. During this match, Snitsky hit Kane on the back with a steel chair, causing Kane to fall on his (kayfabe) pregnant wife Lita, which lead her to having a (kayfabe) miscarriage. Snitsky claimed that he was not responsible for the child's death. "It wasn't my fault" would become his catchphrase for a time.
His RAW character had a foot fixation.
He dated female wrestler Melissa Coates.

WWE: Kane, part 5

Kane formed a tag team with Rob Van Dam, with the duo eventually winning the World Tag Team Championship. In June 2003, Triple H offered Kane a spot in his stable "Evolution". RAW Co-General Manager "Stone Cold" Steve Austin offered Kane the opportunity to face Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship if he rejected Triple H's offer; however, Co-General Manager Eric Bischoff insisted that Kane unmask should he lose the match. Kane accepted Austin's offer and went to challenge Triple H the following week in Madison Square Garden. Triple H won the match following interference from his stablemates, and on the June 23, 2003 RAW, Kane removed his mask (and, in the process, his hair), revealing that his face was not actually scarred. He then immediately turned heel by chokeslamming Van Dam, who he went on to defeat at SummerSlam 2003. In an interview with Jim Ross, it became apparent that Kane's facial scars were actually mental scars (this explanation ignored instances in which other wrestlers had recoiled upon seeing Kane's unmasked face). At the end of this interview, Kane, believing that he was being mocked, attacked Ross and set him on fire.
Unmasking rendered Kane emotionally unstable, on one occasion driving him to Tombstone Linda McMahon on the RAW stage. This action sparked a feud between Kane and Linda's son Shane, with Kane defeating Shane in a Last Man Standing match at Unforgiven 2003 and an ambulance match at the 2003 Survivor Series. During the latter event, Kane interfered in a Buried Alive match between Vince McMahon and The Undertaker, helping McMahon bury The Undertaker and win the match. He had previously helped Stone Cold Steve Austin bury Undertaker in a match at Rock Bottom: In Your House in 1998.
In January 2004, Kane took part in the 2004 Royal Rumble match. He was eliminated after a video promoting The Undertaker's return aired, distracting and distressing Kane and enabling Booker T to eliminate him from the ring. Over the following weeks, Kane repeatedly insisted that The Undertaker was "dead", only to be met with various paranormal incidents such as a rainstorm localized over the ramp on which he stood. The Undertaker finally returned at WrestleMania XX (with Paul Bearer at his side), defeating Kane. Kane is the only man to lose to the Undertaker at 2 WrestleManias.
Following his defeat at WrestleMania XX, Kane fell in love with Lita, but was spurned. This led to him kidnapping Lita in May 2004 and asking her an unknown question, which she replied to in the affirmative later that month. On the same night, Kane won a twenty man battle royal to receive a World Heavyweight Championship title shot against Chris Benoit at Bad Blood 2004, where he was defeated.
Lita later announced that she was "pregnant", with Matt Hardy (her then-boyfriend in both kayfabe and reality) assuming that he was the child's father. On the June 21, 2004 episode of RAW, Kane claimed that he was the father. The following week, Kane explained that he had impregnated Lita in order to continue his legacy, and justified a vicious attack on Shawn Michaels several weeks earlier by claiming that Michaels had stood in the way of him winning the World Heavyweight Championship. In order to appease Kane, General Manager Eric Bischoff gave Kane a rematch with Benoit, instructing Benoit that he could only win by submission, whereas Kane could win the title by any means. Despite dominating much of the match, Kane again lost to Benoit. Following the match, Lita came to the ring and low-blowed Kane, who initially went to chokeslam her in revenge but stopped when he realized that she was trying to force him to cause her to miscarry their "child". Kane and Matt Hardy faced one another in a "'Till Death Do Us Part" match at SummerSlam, with Lita obliged to wed the victor. Kane defeated Hardy, and "married" Lita on the August 23, 2004 episode of RAW, after being attacked by Hardy during the ceremony but nevertheless gaining the upper hand and ultimately chokeslammed Hardy off the stage. (In reality, Hardy needed time off because of a knee injury and later a staph infection).
On the September 13, 2004 episode of RAW, Kane accidentally fell on Lita during a match with the debuting Gene Snitsky, ostensibly causing Lita to miscarry. Kane turned face as a result, and began seeking revenge against Snitsky for causing the death of his child. He lost to Snitsky in a steel chain match at Taboo Tuesday 2004, and was sidelined for several months after Snitsky crushed his larynx with a chair following the match. This attack was a repeat performance of when Kane "injured" Michaels in the same exact manner. The "injury" gave Kane time to film his starring role in the film, See No Evil.

WWE: Kane, part 3

In 1999, Kane joined The Corporation. He eventually turned face after he was betrayed by Corporation member Chyna and thrown out of the stable. Shortly afterward, Kane formed a tag team with X-Pac. While teaming with X-Pac, Kane evolved from being mute to aided speech through an electrolarynx to speaking (albeit infrequently) unaided (with his first words being "suck it") and acquired a girlfriend, Tori. The tag team broke apart when X-Pac rejoined D-Generation X. In the course of their feud, Tori betrayed Kane and joined D-Generation X, and the former partners engaged in a lengthy feud that finally ended at WrestleMania 2000, where Kane triumphed over his former partner.
Shortly after WrestleMania, Kane suffered a hand injury that kept him out of action for a month. When he returned, it was to help The Undertaker and The Rock fight off the McMahon-Helmsley Faction. His involvement in this feud culminated in a main event match at King of the Ring 2000 against Vince and Shane McMahon, and then Champion Triple H. The Undertaker and Kane's rivalry resurfaced during the match, but they patched their relationship up soon after. Kane later turned heel once again by assaulting The Undertaker, leading to a match between the two at SummerSlam 2000. The match ended when The Undertaker removed Kane's mask, causing him to flee the ring, covering his face.
Kane stayed in contention for the WWF Championship for the remainder of the year, and ended 2000 in a feud with Chris Jericho ultimately losing to him in a last man standing match.
