WWE RAW: Super Crazy

Ring name(s) Super Crazy,Super Crazzy,Super Loco,Super Lobo,Histeria

Billed height 175 cm (5 ft 8 in)
Billed weight 94 kg (200 lb)
Born December 3, 1973
Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico
Trained by Rey Pantera
Debut February 1988

Francisco Pantoja Islas (born December 3, 1973) is a Mexican professional wrestler best known by his ring name Super Crazy. Crazy is perhaps best known for his stint in Extreme Championship Wrestling and is now performing for World Wrestling Entertainment on its RAW brand.

Super Crazy was a mainstay on the Mexican independent circuit for years, before signing with the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración promotion in 1995. From there, he moved on to the Promo Azteca promotion where booker Konnan made him the focus of the cruiserweight division.

While there, Super Crazy had a legendary feud with Venum Black, which culminated in a mask vs hair match on March 6th in the city of Naucalpan. Crazy took the match and mask of Venum Black.

Super Crazy was picked up by Paul Heyman after displaying excellent physical abilities. He was signed in 1998 and had many incredible matches with the smaller men in ECW like Yoshihiro Tajiri and Little Guido Maritato. His match with Tajiri for the ECW Television Championship was voted "Match of the Year" by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2000.

Super Crazy won the ECW Television Championship at living dangerously 2000. The title had been vactated by Rob Van Dam and a tournament was held to crown a new champion. After beating Little Guido in the semi finals, Super Crazy went on to defeat Rhino in the final. He would lose the title a month later to Yoshihiro Tajiri.

After ECW folded, Super Crazy wrestled for different promotions like Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, Xtreme Pro Wrestling, International Wrestling Association, and at Ring of Honor's debut show where he beat Eddie Guerrero to become the IWA Intercontinental Champion. Crazy also appeared on the March 5, 2003 edition of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's weekly PPV's as one of Konnan's authentic luchadore challengers, where he would lose to Jerry Lynn.

In 2005, Crazy signed a contract with WWE. He appeared at the WWE-promoted ECW One Night Stand 2005 PPV on June 12, 2005 winning an international three-way dance by pinning Yoshihiro Tajiri in the final pinfall of the match, and during the match performed a moonsault from a second story balcony. He first appeared on WWE television on the June 18, 2005 airing of SmackDown!'s sister show WWE Velocity, teaming with Psicosis to defeat Akio and Billy Kidman.

Psicosis, Super Crazy, and Juventud would soon group together to form a stable known as The Mexicools. The group made their debut as heels on the June 23, 2005 edition of SmackDown! when all three members rode to the ring on John Deere lawn mowers with the decals altered to say Juan Deere (John in Spanish) and wearing matching coveralls. They then attacked Chavo Guerrero and Paul London during their WWE Cruiserweight Championship match.

Juventud cut a promo questioning the lack of "true Mexican luchadores" in the cruiserweight division, before going on to deride the current state of Mexican Americans in general. Psicosis dubbed the lawnmower they arrived on a "Mexican Limo 2005" and the group claimed that even Mexico's President mocks Mexicans in the United States (in reference to Vicente Fox's controversial remark that Mexican immigrants do the jobs "not even the blacks want to do"). Juventud then stated that they were "no longer there to clean toilets and work for "them" (the "gringos") but "they" were going to be working for "us" (The Mexicools)", before dubbing the team "not Mexicans but Mexicools!" In the following weeks, they would continue to interfere in matches and mock the stereotypical image of Mexicans in the United States.

Despite being introduced as heels and thus meant to be disliked by the fans, the group quickly became favorites of the audience, and eventually began acting as faces. They received strong approval from the audience even during their debut, which occurred in Tucson, Arizona. The city is 35% Hispanic, which may have contributed to the unexpected reaction. On July 24, 2005 at the Great American Bash in Buffalo, New York, Psicosis pinned Steven Richards to secure the Mexicools' first PPV win in a six-man tag match with the bWo.

During December 2, 2005 edition of SmackDown! Super Crazy and Psicosis competed in an over the top rope battle royal against 5 other tag teams, the pair managed to win and earned themselves a match against MNM at Armageddon 2005 for the WWE tag team titles, unfortunately for the Mexicools MNM lost the tag team titles before their match. Not long after this Super Crazy and Psicosis would become the only Mexicools left in WWE, as Juventud was released from WWE on January 6, 2006.

Super Crazy and Psicosis would continue to wrestle as a tag team but Crazy would get his own push as a singles competitor, eventually earning himself #1 contendership for the Cruiserweight Championship and gained critical acclaim as an early candidate for "match of the year." in a WWE Velocity where Super Crazy defeated Nunzio on February 18, 2006.

During mid-2006 the ECW brand was redeveloped and with this came the expectations the Crazy would leave SmackDown! for the new ECW, this was later fueled with a match that would see Yoshihiro Tajiri and Super Crazy team up and face the F.B.I. at ECW One Night Stand 2006.

At this time, Crazy's partnership with Psicosis began to crumble when Psicosis repeatedly abandoned Crazy during incidents with a monster heel known as The Great Khali. This would soon develop into a short-lived feud with Psicosis turning heel and the team splitting up. After the breakup, both Psicosis and Super Crazy would disappear off WWE programming.

On September 4, 2006, Super Crazy made his RAW debut with a victory over Chris Masters using his trademark moonsault. Crazy would continue his feud with Masters throughout September, defeated him once more and competing with Masters, along with four other Superstars, in a Six-Pack Challenge Match for the Intercontinental Championship in which neither Masters or Crazy were able to win.

After the short feud with Masters, Crazy would become a mainstay on RAW's sister show Heat, before once again returning to the main show to feud with Masters, then be involved in angles with Johnny Nitro and Melina.

Scotty 2 Hotty

Ring name(s) Scott Taylor,Scotty Too Hotty,Scotty 2 Hotty
Billed height 5 ft 9 in (175 cm)
Billed weight 220 lb (100 kg)
Born July 2, 1970,Westbrook, Maine
Debut 1989

Scott Garland, better known as Scotty 2 Hotty (born July 2, 1970), is an American professional wrestler currently performing for World Wrestling Entertainment on its RAW brand.

Garland wrestled for New England Wrestling Association winning the tag team titles twice with Steve Ramsey and heavyweight title numorous times, before joining the WWF in 1993.

Garland began his WWF career under the name of Scott Taylor. He saw little success as a solo wrestler, usually acting as a jobber to many superstars. In 1998, he teamed up with "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher to form the tag team of Too Much. Originally unnamed and wrestling as heels, the duo teamed regularly on the promotion's syndicated Saturday wrestling shows with Taylor playing the straight man to Christopher's over-the-top, egotistical antics. Soon Garland adopted Christopher's flamboyant actions and in-ring mannerisms and became known as Scott "Too Hot" Taylor. The team found little success as Too Much, but gained some measure of attention for their ambiguously homosexual gimmick. The two were originally booked to have a live, on-screen gay wedding at the 1999 St. Valentine's Day Massacre pay-per-view, but Christopher's real life father Jerry Lawler objected (as did Christopher and Garland) and the proposed storyline never went ahead.

In late-1999, they were renamed as Scotty 2 Hotty and Grand Master Sexay. They called themselves Too Cool and made their official debut by interfering in a match during an edition of Sunday Night Heat. The team's gimmick was originally that of heel wiggers, but gained in popularity after they were joined by Rikishi. As a three-man stable, the group feuded with the newly-arrived Radicalz. Garland went on to have a series of matches for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship with Dean Malenko and Too Cool won their first WWF World Tag Team Championship.

The group split after Rikishi turned heel, Garland was sidelined with an injury, and Christopher was released for conveying drugs across the Canadian border.

Garland returned in 2001 to form an oddball tag team with Albert, though he was eventually doublecrossed by his partner. In May 2002, he suffered a serious neck injury and had to undergo surgery. It was 17 months before Garland made his full return, teaming back up with Rikishi. The team won the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown! After Rikishi was released, Garland saw little success as a singles wrestler, and was primary used to put over other wrestlers such as Mordecai, MNM and The Mexicools.

Garland's next push came when he began a feud with William Regal. This feud began when Regal left Garland (and turned heel) during a tag match against The Mexicools, but the feud ignited when Scotty attacked Regal during a promo on WWE Velocity. On the next episode of Velocity, which aired August 27, 2005, a match between William Regal and Garland was cut short when Paul Burchill interrupted to aid Regal in beating down Garland. Garland continued to feud with the pair for short while before the storyline faded out and Garland returned to action on Velocity, often teaming with Funaki.

Garland continued to be a mainstay in the SmackDown! cruiserweight division through out the rest of the year and into 2006. Garland competed mainly on Velocity, but during the February 17, 2006 edition of SmackDown!, he was brought up to the main show to substitute for Kid Kash (due to a family emergency) in a title match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Though Garland was unsuccessful in his attempt to defeat the champion Gregory Helms, he (along with SmackDown!s other cruiserweights) entered into a short-lived feud with the champion. After the feud faded out Garland returned to teaming with Funaki, to mainly job to other tag teams, as well as put over debuting wrestlers such as The Miz.

In late January 2007, Scotty was traded to the RAW brand. He made his debut before RAW on January 29, 2007, defeating Jared Steele in a match taped for Heat. However, on the February 16 SmackDown, Scotty made a return appearance facing off against crusierweight champion Gregory Helms in a non title match.

On the February 14 taping of Smackdown! in Seattle, Scotty 2 Hotty appeared in a non-title match against cruiserweight champion Gregory Helms, only to have his match sabotaged by 5 other Smackdown! superstars.

Randy Orton ,Part 5

In September 2006, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Orton had failed a drug test, but, due to recent changes in the Wellness Program, would continue to appear on television and pay-per-view, albeit without pay. In addition, Orton was reported to be being kept off house shows for 30 days as part of the suspension.

While on suspension Orton entered a feud with Carlito. The two men faced each other one-on-one on two separate occasions, the first being at Unforgiven 2006; Orton won both matches. After the suspension had been lifted in October, Orton joined with Edge to feud with DX (Shawn Michaels and Triple H), dubbing themselves Rated-RKO. Rated-RKO would go on the become the first team to defeat DX in a match since their reformation before going on to win the World Tag Team Championships from Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

In 2007, Rated-RKO continued their feud with DX while attacking Ric Flair (a friend of DX), using the attacks on Flair as emotional leverage to enrage DX. This resulted in a match at New Years Revolution on January 7 where Rated-RKO's World Tag Team titles were on the line. The match was declared a No-Contest, and Triple H suffered a legit right quadriceps injury during the match.

While Triple H is out with the injury, Rated-RKO continues to feud with the remaining DX member, Shawn Michaels. On January 29, 2007, Rated-RKO lost the World Tag Team Championships to Shawn Michaels and WWE Champion John Cena.

Before becoming a wrestler, Orton enlisted with the United States Marine Corps. Orton was dishonorably discharged about a year later after going AWOL on two separate occasions, and disobeying an order from a commanding officer. Under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Private First Class Orton was tried and convicted under a special court-martial, and was put into a military prison for thirty eight days. As this was before a change of law in 2002, Orton did not become a felon as a result.

While on RAW, Orton was accused of harassing fellow WWE employees Amy Weber and Rochelle Loewen, leading to the departure of Weber from the company, while Loewen was transferred to SmackDown! (she was later released). Loewen claimed that he vandalized her possessions and directed racist remarks towards her, calling him "an animal". However, it should be noted that Orton's friend Mark Jindrak refuted several of Loewen's accusations in an interview with Voice of Wrestling, and claimed that Orton had apologized to Loewen at the time of the 2005 Royal Rumble, and that fellow Diva Search contestant (and eventual winner) Christy Hemme denied what she knew of the allegations in an interview with The Sun.

Orton suffers from hypermobile shoulders. This has contributed to several shoulder injuries.

In November 2005, Orton announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Samantha Speno.

Randy Orton ,Part 4

On a special live episode of SmackDown! on November 29, 2005, Orton placed The Undertaker on the trunk of one of Eddie Guerrero's lowriders and reversed the car through the SmackDown! stage, setting it on fire and the car to "explode". The Undertaker retorted by playing mind games with Orton over the next several weeks, leading to a Hell in a Cell match between the two being scheduled for Armageddon 2005. On December 16, 2005 Orton lured The Undertaker to the ring by declaring his "retirement". When The Undertaker entered the ring, one of the druids who typically accompanied him to the ring remained at ringside. The Undertaker was distracted as a result, enabling Orton to attack him and deliver an RKO. The "druid" then revealed himself to be Bob Orton, and gave Orton The Undertaker's signature urn to strike him with. At Armageddon 2005, The Undertaker defeated Orton after delivering the Tombstone Piledriver to both Orton and his father, finally ending their nine-month-long feud.

Randy Orton performing his trademark poseTwo weeks after Armageddon, Orton agreed to represent an injured Booker T in the fifth match of his "best of seven" series with Chris Benoit over the WWE United States Championship. As Booker T had won three of the matches already fought, Orton only needed to beat Benoit once to win the series for Booker. Orton lost to Benoit following botched interference from Booker T's wife Sharmell. He faced Benoit the following week, but lost once again after Orlando Jordan interfered on Benoit's behalf. On the January 13, 2006, episode of SmackDown!, Orton defeated Benoit, thus winning the United States Championship for Booker T and finishing the series four-three. The following week saw him face Orlando Jordan in a match because Orlando had interfered with Booker and Sharmell's celebration by attacking him in the middle of the ring. Orton won the match by a distraction from Booker and Sharmell which allowed him to hit the RKO for the win. The following week, Orton lost to Benoit in a no holds barred match.

Orton took part in the 2006 Royal Rumble match on January 29, 2006. Despite entering at number thirty, Orton was eliminated by the second entrant, Rey Mysterio. On the following SmackDown!, Orton challenged Mysterio to put his title shot on the line at No Way Out 2006, with Mysterio accepting his challenge. In the weeks preceding No Way Out, Orton made several controversial remarks about Eddie Guerrero. At No Way Out, Orton defeated Mysterio, earning himself a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 22. However, on the following episode of SmackDown!, General Manager Theodore Long readded Mysterio to the match, turning it into a triple threat match between Orton, Mysterio and World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle. Orton protested the decision but was told by Long to accept it or lose his own shot at the title. On April 2, 2006, at WrestleMania 22, Angle lost his title after Orton was pinned by Mysterio.

On April 4 2006, WWE stated that Orton was suspended for sixty days for "unprofessional conduct", On April 7, 2006, in an interview with WWE.com, Orton stated, "my conduct was unbecoming of a champion, which is what I will be again when I return". On April 12, 2006, WWE stated that Orton had suffered a broken ankle at the hands of Kurt Angle during the previous night's SmackDown! taping, shortly after losing to Angle in a King of the Ring first round match. In July 2006, Orton claimed that he had been suspended for smoking marijuana backstage at a SmackDown! taping. While suspended, Orton spent four weeks at an anger management clinic in Atlanta, Georgia.

Orton returned from his suspension on the June 5, 2006, episode of RAW, attacking Kurt Angle and accepting Angle's open challenge for a match at One Night Stand. Four days before the show, at WWE vs. ECW Head to Head, Orton announced that his contract with SmackDown! had expired, and that he was once again a member of the RAW roster. Orton went on to lose to Angle at One Night Stand, but would win in a rematch at Vengeance.

Throughout July 2006, Orton would involve himself in a feud with WWE Legend Hulk Hogan by flirting with Hogan's 18 year old daughter Brooke. This feud would culminate in a match at SummerSlam 2006 which would see Hogan victorious.

Randy Orton ,Part 3

After defeating Batista the next night on Raw in a #1 Contenders match,Orton was unsuccessful in his attempt to win back the World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H at the 2005 Royal Rumble on January 30, 2005. After Batista's push began, Orton was marginalized. He began an onscreen relationship with Stacy Keibler and briefly feuded with Christian. After "Superstar" Billy Graham advised Orton to "go where no wrestler has gone before", Orton challenged veteran SmackDown! wrestler The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania 21, making the ambitious claim that he would defeat The Undertaker, thus ending Undertaker's undefeated WrestleMania streak.

This feud saw Orton hitting the RKO on Jake Roberts, who had warned him about facing The Undertaker. Only two weeks before WrestleMania, Orton cemented his heel status by knocking Stacy Keibler out with the RKO; ending their on-screen angle. He went on to slap The Undertaker and assault him following a distraction by his father, Cowboy Bob Orton. Despite interference from his father, Orton was defeated by The Undertaker at WrestleMania 21 after he attempted a Tombstone Piledriver, but was off-balance, enabling The Undertaker to reverse the move into his own Tombstone Piledriver for the pinfall victory.

In storyline terms, a match with Batista on the night following WrestleMania aggravated Orton's shoulder problems stemming from the previous night (in actuality he was sidelined for several months while recuperating from his third genuine shoulder injury). While injured, Orton appeared on the May 16, 2005, episode of RAW, declaring his intention to gain revenge on Batista by defeating him for the World Heavyweight Championship. Orton claimed that he could not be drafted to SmackDown! as a result of his injury, but was informed by Vince McMahon that he was in fact an eligible candidate for the draft.

Orton returned to WWE television on the June 16, 2005 episode of SmackDown!, attacking The Undertaker and announcing that he was the second SmackDown! pick in the 2005 draft lottery. He made his in-ring return on August 11, 2005, fighting Kamala to a draw. Orton went on to defeat The Undertaker at SummerSlam following a distraction from his father, the returning Cowboy Bob Orton, who was disguised as a fan. After SummerSlam, an overconfident Orton announced on the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown! that he was opening a retirement fund for The Undertaker. However, The Undertaker made his return by setting the over sized check ablaze with a mysterious bolt of lightning. Orton began to become a full heel as fans started to dislike him as Bob Orton, Jr. began to help him win more matches, as it looked as if Orton were to lose matches against opponents like Hardcore Holly and Rey Mysterio.

After losing to The Undertaker on an episode of SmackDown!, Orton and The Undertaker began taunting each other using caskets. This led to Orton and his father facing The Undertaker in a handicap casket match at No Mercy 2005. The Ortons defeated The Undertaker after Bob Orton blinded The Undertaker with foam from a fire extinguisher, enabling his son to strike him with a chair. After sealing The Undertaker in the casket, Orton set the casket on fire and struck it with an axe.

At Survivor Series, Orton took Eddie Guerrero's place on "Team SmackDown!". Orton became the sole survivor of his team for a third time, pinning HBK to win the match for "Team SmackDown!". As Orton celebrated following the match, The Undertaker made his return, chasing Orton from the ring and indiscriminately attacking several other members of the SmackDown! roster.

Randy Orton ,Part 2

Randy started the year 2004 off by feuding with Mick Foley, which began when Orton challenged Foley to a match in December 2003 in which Foley walked out. Soon after, Orton began showing several vignettes in which Foley was labeled as a coward. Foley returned to team up with The Rock against Orton, Ric Flair and Batista at WrestleMania XX in a handicap match which saw Orton pin Foley. The two men met a month later at Backlash in a hardcore rules match, which Orton also won.

In July, at Vengeance 2004, Edge defeated Orton to win the Intercontinental Championship, ending Orton's seven month reign as champion.

On the July 26, 2004, episode of RAW, Orton won a twenty-man battle royal last eliminating Chris Jericho to become the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. On August 15, 2004, at SummerSlam 2004, Orton defeated the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit by pinfall following an RKO to capture his first World Heavyweight Championship, making him the youngest ever World Heavyweight Champion in the WWE at the age of twenty-four. After the match, Orton and Benoit shook hands with Benoit encouraging Orton to "be a man".

After successfully defending the belt against Benoit on RAW the next night, Orton and Evolution celebrated the win. During the celebration, Batista had Orton on his shoulders and Triple H gave him a thumbs-up; which then turned into a thumbs down. Orton was then brutalized by Batista, Flair, and Triple H. He was thrown out of Evolution the next week on RAW after he refused to hand his World Heavyweight Championship over to Triple H when requested, instead spitting on Triple H and striking him in the face with the belt. Orton became a face as a result, and began using new entrance music, "Burn in My Light" by Mercy Drive. He feuded with Triple H over the World Heavyweight Championship for a month before losing to Triple H on September 12 2004, at Unforgiven 2004.

After losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Triple H, Orton continued to feud with his former stablemates. On September 12, during Triple H's celebration of his newly obtained title, Randy Orton jumped out of a cake and dominated Evolution, even leaving Triple H humiliated and covered in cake. After he was scheduled to take part in a match in late October that would see him prohibited from challenging Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship if he lost, Orton had an added incentive to see Triple H lose the title.

Orton, along with Maven, Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit, emerged victorious at Survivor Series 2004 in a match which entitled the winners to each be General Manager for one of the four weeks following the event. On the November 29, 2004, episode of RAW, Orton booked a battle royal for the World Heavyweight Championship in the belief that this would ensure that Triple H lost the title. However, Vince McMahon overruled Orton, changing the battle royal to a number one contender match. Orton also gave Eugene and William Regal a match for the World Tag Team Championship against La Résistance, pitted Jerry Lawler against Ric Flair in a "legend versus legend" match, and scheduled a lingerie contest between several RAW Divas.

After the World Heavyweight Championship was vacated on December 13, Orton was chosen to face Triple H, Chris Benoit, Edge, Batista and Chris Jericho in an Elimination Chamber match at New Year's Revolution 2005 on January 9, 2005, to determine a new champion. Triple H pinned Orton to win the match, thus keeping their feud active for a longer period of time.

Randy Orton ,Part 1

Randal "Randy" Keith Orton (born April 1, 1980), is an American professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment wrestling on its RAW brand.

Orton is a third-generation professional wrestler; his grandfather, Bob Orton, Sr., father, "Cowboy" Bob Orton, and uncle, Barry O, were all professional wrestlers.

Orton made his professional wrestling debut in 2000 with the MMWA-SICW in St. Louis, Missouri. In MMWA-SICW or South Broadway Athletic Club as it is known in St. Louis, he was trained by such wrestlers there as Ron Powers, Gary Jackson, Mark Bland, Jeremy Lightfoot, Phil E. Blunt and promoter Tony Costa as well as his father, Cowboy Bob Orton. This is an organization that was an off-shoot of the old Wrestling at the Chase headed by Sam Munchnick between 1950-1983. Randy Orton then had a match with another St. Louis group, Central Championship Wrestling, with O.G. Stevie B.

Before long, Orton signed a developmental deal with WWE and was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville. His earliest appearance on WWE television was in a match against Billy Gunn, on the May 6, 2001 edition of Sunday Night HEAT.

After training at Ohio Valley Wrestling, he was then brought up to the main roster. Orton debuted on WWE programming on the April 25, 2002, episode of SmackDown!, defeating Hardcore Holly. He made little impact as a face on SmackDown! before being drafted to RAW. In Orton's debut match for 'RAW' after praisingly being introduced by Jim Ross he defeated Christian and Lance Storm. He eventually became a heel.

Orton's heel turn was drawn out over several months. While sidelined with a separated shoulder, Orton launched the Randy News Network, a weekly vignette which featured Orton explaining the current status of his shoulder. He also provided an e-mail address by which fans could contact him to express their support. His smug, self-centered attitude gradually turned the fans against him.

Upon his return on January 20, 2003, Orton helped Triple H, Ric Flair and Batista beat down Scott Steiner, a rival of Triple H's. Triple H later called the foursome Evolution. The stable was briefly disbanded shortly thereafter when both Orton and Batista were sidelined with injuries, but reconvened in May 2003. At this point Orton was given the gimmick of "The Legend Killer" which saw him defeat or humiliate numerous "legendary" wrestlers and celebrities. Orton gained infamy when he spat in the face of wrestling legend Harley Race. It is during this time that he began using what would become his signature finisher, the "RKO". Its name taken from his initials, it is a cutter performed by Randy jumping up before grabbing his opponent in the cutter hold and dropping them down.

This was also the year in which Orton would begin to get involved in high profile matches. At SummerSlam 2003, he would compete in the Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship against stablemate and defending champion Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Bill Goldberg, Chris Jericho, and Kevin Nash. Orton held his own in the match, though he basically was in it to help Triple H keep the title. At Unforgiven 2003 on September 21, Orton defeated Shawn Michaels in what would be the first of many a high profile match billed as "Legend vs. Legend Killer", with the help of his stablemate and mentor Ric Flair. Orton went on to defeat Rob Van Dam for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Armageddon 2003 on December 14. Two significant things about this night were that all the male-owned titles on Raw were in Evolution's grasp, and that this reign with the Intercontinental Title he became the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in the past seven years, holding the title for seven months.

Johnny Nitro, Part 2

During his time on RAW, Nitro would have a sporadic rivalry with the man who defeated him in his first RAW match, John Cena. During the October 16, 2006 edition of RAW in Los Angeles, California, Nitro and Melina brought rap artist Kevin Federline to the show as a special guest. Naturally, Cena interrupted, battle rapped Federline and eventually FUed him. In a surprise return, Federline appeared the next week to aid Nitro in a match against Cena.

On the November 6, 2006 episode of RAW, after getting disqualified in a match with Jeff Hardy, Eric Bischoff, GM for the night, came out and had the match restarted and made it no-disqualification. Nitro ended up defeating Hardy to win his second WWE Intercontinental Championship after the match was restarted. Nitro would lose the title back to Hardy the following week on RAW. He then challenged Hardy to a Ladder match the next week on RAW for the Intercontinental Championship, in which he lost to Hardy again after Hardy trapped him under the ladder.

On an episode of RAW it was revealed that Nitro, Melina, and Mercury were reuniting as MNM and accepted the open challenge by The Hardys for ECW December to Dismember 2006. At December to Dismember, The Hardys defeated MNM. Johnny Nitro took part in a 4 team WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder match with Joey Mercury against The Hardys, Paul London and Brian Kendrick and William Regal and David Taylor. MNM lost the match and Mercury ended up with a (legit) serious injury. At the Royal Rumble, January 28, MNM once again faced the Hardys, but were defeated.

Currently, Johnny Nitro is in a feud with Super Crazy, and Melina is in a feud with Mickie James.
Hennigan grew up in Los Angeles, California with his two younger sisters, Kelly & Elise Hennigan.
His real life best friends are John Cena, Randy Orton, and Joey Mercury.
Hennigan resided in Louisville, Kentucky with his girlfriend and on screen valet, Melina Perez, before the two moved to California.

Johnny Nitro, Part 1

John Randall Hennigan (born October 3, 1979) is an American professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Johnny Nitro. He is currently performing on the RAW brand of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Hennigan, along with Matt Cappotelli was the winner of Tough Enough III in 2003 and was granted a WWE contract as a result. After the series ended, Hennigan and Cappotelli were sent to the WWE developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) for further training. He had tried out for Tough Enough II, and can be seen on the first episode, but the judges thought he wasn't serious about wrestling for a living, so he was cut from the final 13, having placed in the final 25.

In 2004, Hennigan debuted on WWE television as the assistant of RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff. Hennigan was given a variety of pseudonyms, including, briefly, Johnny Blaze, a trademarked property of Marvel Comics (and nickname of rapper Method Man), and Johnny Spade. He was eventually named Johnny Nitro, a reference to WCW Monday Nitro, the television series formerly produced by Bischoff. Hennigan also began using the Nitro theme music as his entrance music. This storyline was abandoned after several weeks when Bischoff fired Hennigan for failing to defeat Eugene (Bischoff's kayfabe nephew). Hennigan was then sent back to OVW, although he retained the name Johnny Nitro.

Hennigan returned to WWE television on April 14, 2005, making his SmackDown! debut as one-third of the stable MNM with Joey Mercury and manager, Melina. The following week, MNM defeated Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero for the WWE Tag Team Championship. MNM successfully defended the titles in a match with Charlie Haas and Bob Holly at Judgment Day 2005, but were defeated by Heidenreich and Animal at the Great American Bash 2005. They defeated Animal and Heidenreich for the titles in a four way tag team match on October 28, 2005, and held the titles until December 16, 2005, when they lost to Batista and Rey Mysterio. They began their third reign December 30, 2005, defeating Batista and Mysterio with the assistance of the returning Mark Henry.

The team of Paul London and Brian Kendrick would go on to feud with MNM, beginning by picking up a win in a non-title match against the reigning WWE Tag Team champions. London and Kendrick would continue their winning streak on the champions, including singles victories for both Kendrick and London on Nitro and Mercury respectively. The feud came to a head at Judgment Day 2006, where they defeated MNM for the titles. After the match, Nitro and Melina blamed Mercury for the loss, resulting MNM in a break up. Later that same night, Melina and Nitro were fired, in kayfabe, from SmackDown!, due to Melina slapping Smackdown! General Manager Theodore Long, and Nitro for mouthing off. As a result of that, Nitro and Melina were no longer employed by Smackdown.

Nitro, along with Melina, made their way to the RAW brand, debuting together on May 29, 2006, with Nitro losing to WWE Champion John Cena. The following week, Melina faked a sprained ankle, allowing Nitro to roll up Charlie Haas for his first RAW win.

Nitro would get into the hunt for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, finally defeating the champion Shelton Benjamin and Carlito in a Triple-Threat Match at Vengeance 2006 to capture the title; which was his first singles title in his career. Nitro held the belt for 4 months, feuding with several challengers and defending it against others before finally losing it to Jeff Hardy on the October 2, 2006 edition of RAW.

Rhodes started his career training in Central States Wrestling Alliance, in the Missouri area, in 1997. Rhodes then moved on to World League Wrestling (WLW) and Harley Race's Training Camp in 1999 and began his wrestling career in WLW. On April 11, 2000, Rhodes won the WLW World Championship by defeating Meng. He then made a name for himself as part of The Dupps, a hillbilly tag team consisting of kayfabe brothers Stan Dupp (Rhodes) and Bo Dupp. As a team, The Dupps wrestled in both Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). While in OVW, Rhodes teamed with Lance Cade under his real name. The team was known as TNT. Rhodes signed WWE development deal in June 2005.

On August 22, 2005 a promo was shown showcasing Rhodes' debut along with the returning Lance Cade. Rhodes was repackaged as Trevor Murdoch (the surname coming from his likeness to wrestling legend Dick Murdoch), and the team was simply known as Cade and Murdoch. Cade, playing a smooth-talking cowboy, while Murdoch appeared to be an angry southern trucker.

Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch after winning the World Tag Team Championship at Unforgiven 2005.Cade and Murdoch won their debut match on the on September 5, 2005 episode of RAW. They defeated World Tag Team Champions, Hurricane and Rosey in a non-title match earning themself a title match at Unforgiven 2005. During the title match, Murdoch delivered an Elevated DDT on The Hurricane to the outside. According to storyline, the DDT caused Hurricane to suffer a "stinger" This allowed Cade & and Murdoch to defeat The Hurricane and Rosey to win the World Tag Team Championships. They would eventually lose their titles at Taboo Tuesday 2005 to The Big Show and Kane.

On November 28, 2005 during his match against Shelton Benjamin, commentator Joey Styles acknowledged that Murdoch and Lance Cade were no longer a tag team. It was revealed on WWE Unlimited, that Trevor Murdoch set his sights on Ric Flair and the WWE Intercontinental Championship. On Unlimited, Murdoch had been reviewing movies that were at the time, currently playing in theaters, such as Brokeback Mountain, King Kong, and Hostel. The first two movie reviews displayed various sexual habits, while the third showed cruelty in his past. The underlying point of all the reviews that Murdoch was trying to convey is that he believes 'city folk' have quite an easy life, as opposed to his.

After breaking up with Cade, he would move on to wrestle in singles competition on HEAT, normally winning most of his matches while still making small appearances on RAW. He would also have a short feud with The Heart Throbs on HEAT which involved him defeating both of them in singles action and gaining a spot in the 2006 Royal Rumble. He competed in the 2006 Royal Rumble despite not winning it.

He would then move on to a short feud with Goldust but was unsuccessful in beating him and ended up feuding with both Goldust and his tag partner Snitsky. This lead to him helping former partner Cade win his matches and hinted at the two of them reforming their team.

Cade and Murdoch would later reform their tag team, and Cade now had a new look with long jet black wet hair. On the September 4th edition of RAW, Murdoch and Cade would lose a Number 1 Contenders match for the World Tag Team Titles for Unforgiven 2006. The Highlanders won the match when they pinned Charlie Haas who was with Viscera. Murdoch and Lance Cade then joined forces with Edge to oppose D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels).
